Sentinel^3R – ASW milling wheat – licensed to AWB Seeds

· High and stable yield, early to main season maturity

· Adapted to:

o NE & SW Victoria

o Southern slopes of NSW

o SE South Australia

o Under irrigation in Northern NSW and in the Riverina

· Resistant to current field strains of stem, stripe and leaf rust

· Mid to long season wheat

· Performs well on acid soils

· Excellent lodging and shattering resistance

· Medium height at maturity

Sentinel^3R performance:

· In 2007 Sentinel^3R yielded in excess of 10 t/ha in South Western Victorian NVT trials

· In 2005 it was clearly the highest yielding variety in Southern NSW early season NVT trials

LongReach Guardian – milling wheat – licensed to AWB Seeds

· A reliable main season APW variety with high and stable yield potential

· Broad adaptation with Krichauff in its pedigree but with superior flour quality

· Adapted to South Australia, WA and parts of Victoria

· Good resistance to stem rust with an excellent gene combination for durable resistance

· Guardian does not rely on the “VPM” set of resistances to Stem, Leaf & Stripe rust

· Suited to planting in wheat on wheat rotations, with good resistance to CCN & useful levels of field resistance to Yellow Leaf Spot

· A mid season variety similar in grain maturity to Janz and Krichauff

LongReach Catalina – milling wheat – licensed to AWB Seeds

· Reliable main season AH variety with high and stable yield potential

· AH classification in SA and Victoria; APW in NSW and WA

· Excellent CCN resistance and useful levels of field resistance to Yellow Leaf Spot suit Catalina to use in wheat on wheat rotations

· Large grain size with low screenings in tight finishes

· Moderately Resistant to Stem Rust with an excellent gene combination for durable resistance

· The 2010 Stripe rust rating for Catalina has been changed to MS for all stripe rust pathotypes rather than MR-MS as previously rated.

· Solid rust resistance package with VPM plus other genes

· Visually striking plant type with long ear at maturity

· Medium maturity AH variety for Southern NSW, and the medium-higher rainfall areas of Vic and SA

· High yielding variety suitable for a broad range of planting times

· Good rust resistance package based on novel genes not commonly used in Australian varieties - does not carry the VPM resistance genes and should not be affected by the new Yr17 attacking pathotype

Stem rust rating has been reduced based on the 2009 disease data to S
